CUDA rendering example

this 5mb file took 12 seconds to render from formula to coloring to zooming to outputting a 8192x6144 JPEG file ... i did the same test on an AMD Radeon HD 6990i have obtained in my render stack last month and it took 8 minutes and 32 secounds to output a png file (larger file quicker to produce) and it screwed it up XD

just shows the power that nvidia has in there CUDA tech!

rendered on a single nvidia GTX 480 85% GPU usage peak 1.2gb GPU memory used only 12% CPU and 500mb ram
all drivers up to date
program used was my own made with C++ and .net framework 4.0 and for the nvidia render i used the CUDA dev kit and for the ATI render i used the openGL framework

EDIT: found the log files on the ATI render ... 100% CPU use max (6 core i7) 4gb ram used, 100% GPU usage, 4.5gb video ram used 880mhz clock 1.2tflops ... its raided for 5tflops but ATI lies out there ass XD i never had a benchmark pass 2tflops
top temp was 100*c ... i should tone that thing down before i do any more rendering its close to frying
