hngggggg i love custom knives ... i have had ideas for knives i want and i got my self a nice big railway spike i want to smith in to a funzies sword XO
funny enough my bench grinder recently broke ... i bought it (full size) for just $25 at a small shop on the beach called roses XD ... i plan to buy a new one from harbor freaght ... i also need an electric angle grinder my pneumatic one is good but my head would thank me if i put it down *head still rattles from compressor*
Railway spikes are a little tricky, they won't harden all the way, they don't have enough points of carbon in it to completely harden, But hey if its just for funzies, then yeah, I'm not going to tell you what to do, Thats up to your imagination to decide!
I have a electric one, every time I use it...I swear its going to splinter and lacerate me, Don't buy harbor freight grinding wheels, they tend to shatter...Yep, I seriously need to get a bench grinder, My knifesmith mentor has like.....Five of them...
Idk how Knifesmiths make their products so amazingly kick-butt-atudeness, but hey, They use a anvil, regularly, So I guess the steel sorta mingles with their blood and creates some sort of super hulk, I must research this further, Dr.Cutter has to help me, As my medical knowledge is very basic. This is one of my mentors creations.
yeah i got it because it was there and it has more carbon than welding steal XP ... maryland has no laws on what you can and can not carry thats not a firearm when your over 18 but if at any point i feel a sword is nessary i would just play it safe and take my spiderco and my .45 SA xd ... XP but i just hope it never comes to that XD
i wear my welding mask when using an angle grinder ... i never had a wheel shatter on me with one but i have with dremel ones and i have gone to the ER with a shard of it getting in my eye and its not fun! and dont worry i have 2 boxes filled with cutoff wheels for angle grinders and grinder drums for the bench grinder
thats beutiful ... those folds make me want to cum and im not even THAT big of a knife guy ... i have my spidercos and a small collection but i mostly just appreciate them and there function XP and the spidercos are ones i can pass on to my kids when the MTECHs and tac forces will break probably in the next year XD
I love spyderco, At first I was going to get a Ka-Bar Zompoc machete thing, but then I decided on a Delica, Since I had three machetes at the time....
.45 will take down pretty much anything human, unless its a blacksmith, then they will use their steel skin to pretty much kill anything, Except a wild Chuck Norris
I kinda view the apocalypse as a fun thing to talk about, I joke about certain people surviving, Or not surviving, but hey, that's up to life and chance.
Your trained, that is good, Very good....
Yep, the moment I saw that blade in person, I was like "I thought the blade was broken! ", My smith mentor stumbled on this for awhile...but then he said...
"It has been remade...." (LOTR reference.)
Spyderco's low alloy stainless steel is pretty badass, I haven't acquired a Mtech YET, but I might in the future.
i actually dont won a machete ... there cheap and GREAT weapons i just never stumbled uppon on where i could pay out of pocket to pick it up XP but jsut the other day at the local ranger surplus store i got a cheap Chinese casted steel hatchet for $5 ... i hardened it in the grill, sharpned it, repainted it and put in a nice oak handle and now its a rather fun toy XP
heh for my birthday im getting a five-seven 5.7mm pistol that will puncture any metal skin XD
i like preparing for the zombie Apocalypse ... will it ever happen? ... i can say almost 100% no but if your prepared for zombies your prepared for anything XD
a Javanese friend of mine bought during a trip to japan a sword that was reported to have been folded over 1000 times ... i got to play with it its an AMAZING sight ... at first look the blade had the folding marks perfectly the same shape all the way down the blade ... it flexes just enough and slicing threw mat it was so smooth i almost caught the blade on my leg ... he payed $43,000 for it ... because of that he still drives a volvo
i swear by spiderco ... if i have to defend my self i can trust that blade will go in and stay attached and that blade will never dull
