Art Theft is what artists call copyright infringement
thats ANY art used without the artists permission
"so whats the worse you can do? dA will just delete it" they do ... BUT thats still a crime deleated or no thats a violation of the artists copyright all artists get when they upload there work
"you will never find me" wrong ... via court order DA or any other hosting website or domain name will give the TCPIP information to the cort that contains the information on the house number and provider ... where the provider (aka IP) gives the court your address
you will be sent to the federal court in new york to stand trial ... the minim is 1 year in federal prison (so no parole and no probation) and a $250,000 USD
"but i dont live in the usa" but the crime was commited in the usa because DA servers are located in the USA so you will be extradited to the usa for trial and jail time and if its also a crime in your country when you get back you will also stand trial in your own country
"but im just a kid" than your parents will have to pay the fine and you still get jail time ... the one year is a mandatory minimum so there is no wheasleing out of it
"but i did not know it was a crime" for one by law "ignorance of the law is no excuse" and when you sign up you select "i accept" to the "terms of use policy" that IS a legal binding contract ... checking that box is just as good as signing a peace of paper in the USA and no matter where you live its legally binding
