I still go "awww... *sadface*" when I see some of the entries in comparison to my own. Someone told me once that "Your pics may not look as good to YOU because you see them often; When you take it, when you edit it, when you upload it... so you're USED to it, thus it doesn't look as awesome as it actually is!" ... But it doesn't always help XD.

See, I see that lightning pic and think that, as much as it's in the contest, I don't feel like it's going to stand much of a chance, even though it's one of my most loved lightning pics.

you need to start thinking more positively its amazing and a hard to obtain shot and it holds a great chance of winning

Nifty! That's pretty cool!

I think it'll time before I become fully confident with my work. I have gotten nothing out of them thus far aside from a handful of positive responses and my own personal satisfaction.

It just hasn't "clicked" for me yet, if you know what I mean.

yeah i love making things that help with my photogrpahy XD i currently have more stuff in the works

try new things and eventually it will click
i have had diffrent little clicks every 3 months or so XD
highspeed - HDR - fisheye - panoramic - macro ... all of that ... eventually something will stick but i like to dip in to a little of everything
